This is a great condition 1941 vintage Ovaltine Captain Midnight premium. The first Code-O-Graph manual with all associated paperwork including the mailing envelope, mail-in order form card for the Flight Commander’s Ring and the letter to Mom & Dad with it’s own envelope.
The 12 page manual measures approx. 6 inches wide and 8 3/4 inches tall. The Flight Commander’s Ring card was originally bound in to the book at the top staple but has been detached.
The book is clean with very minor wear and a few bends but none with any color breaks.
The letter to Mom & Dad is in excellent shape with no damage but it does have some light marks from the aging gum used to seal the side and bottom flaps of the letter’s envelope.
The Mailing Envelope is not in good condition with most of the edges worn away and split. The open flap is missing as are several chips.
Other than the mailing envelope the premium’s components are free of any rips or tares. Also there are no markings on any of the parts. Not a perfect condition premium but clean and nice.
