THE ITEM DESCRIPTION:
The Dick Tracy “Green Hat” portrait ring features the well known profile of DT wearing his signature hat. It is marked on the inside of one overlapping ring end – Miller Bros. Hat Co. N.Y.C - but this is difficult to read without high power magnification. The ring was given away FREE with every purchase of a boy's hat by the Miller Hat Co., a hat just like the one worn by DT, a classic felt fedora. Miller is still in the hat business & is the largest online seller of hats in the world. And they still make & sell that classic men's fedora. The ring is solid brass & adjustable. The ring was used, worn & shows some distortion where it was enlarged to fit a bigger kid's finger. The hat has some green enamel on brass highlights & 1 line of red enamel.  I like this ring.
