S&H GREEN STAMP Full & Empty Books (Full Books were redeemable for Gift Items)

Description

S & H Green Stamps (from Sperry & Hutchison Co.) were stickers given out by supermarkets, gas stations and other retailers.  The number of stamps was based on the total dollar amount of purchase.  They were hugely popular in the 1950's and 1960's.  Paper "Books" were available and the stickers were (moisten to attach) pasted onto the pages.  Once a book, or books were full they were taken to an S & H Green Stamp "Redemption Center" to exchange for wonderful household products featured in their full color catalog of gifts
(ranging from kitchen appliances, TV's, Sets of Dishes, DIY tools, or its .00 cash value).
They also offered the option to redeem their full books for Catalog Items by U.S. MAIL.

5 - FULL Gift Saver Books (two different varieties)
1 - PARTIALLY FILLED Gift Saver Book and 4 - BLANK Gift Saver Books (three different varieties),
and a few of the larger stamps that had the value of 10 of the smaller stamps.
