The Spider, Hero Pulp Magazine Premium Silver Toy Ring Reproduction. Rare.
Unknown Maker Reproduction Ring. Vintage 70's.
It looks like the original premium ring, except there is a seam through the spider and all the way around the diameter of the ring. The band is solid metal, no breaks or adjustments.
It is in excellent condition, with all red enamel/paint intact. Comes in a nice black leatherette ring box.
The Spider Ring was first offered in the pages of
The Spider
in the March 1934 issue. The story, "Citadel of Hell," was the first time the ring had been featured in an adventure. For 25 cents in coin or stamps, readers could own their very own replica of The Spider ring .
Worth and sold at auctions for thousands of dollars, the original Spider Ring premium is one of the most sought after premiums today. Thousands of originals were sold,  but today only a few dozen have been documented in any condition. Here is a chance to get as close to the real thing as possible for a great price.
