Virginia Metalcrafters/Harvin, 4 piece fireplace tool set - 1500A/879.
Virginia Metalcrafters and Harvin are well known for the high polished brass finish and the high quality of their fireplace tool sets.
Heavy sand cast and hand finished.
Harvin made brass fireplace items for Colonial Williamsburg and many other historical sites until merging with Virginia Metalcrafters who continue to make sets until going out of business in 2006.
This is a 4 piece set consisting of
1 – Stand - 31 1/2" tall, platform is 10 1/4" wide,  7" deep
1 – Poker - 30" long
1 – Shovel - 30" long
1 – Tongs - 30" long
This is a pre-owned set with some surface scratches, minor dings and “blackening” of the brass where used near the fire and some dark spots on the brass stand.
There are also surface scratches on the brass handles.

This set has been well priced due to the condition.  Still very strong and sturdy, excellent quality, but lovingly used.
The stand is stamped with the Harvin name on the bottom and the numbers 1500A and 879.
The stand will be disassembled for shipment to minimize damage and reduce your shipping costs.
