    Adorable, 12" long, bisque sockethead, replica character baby doll,

    Kammer & Reinhardt, Simon & Halbig
    , circa 1909-1920, with happy expression, beautiful antique, brown glass, inset eyes, upper and lower, finely painted eyelashes and multi-stroke brows, an open mouth with
    molded
    tongue
    and two upper teeth, five-piece, chunky composition baby body with bent (baby-style) limbs and a lovely thick, soft brown hair wig with hand sewn center part.  She is
    incised on the back of her head
    : K*R/Simon & Halbig/ 122/ and 22 at the base of her neck as well as with the
    artist's signature.
    She wears a wonderful,
    labeled:
    Horsman Doll
    (etc.) antique, pink cotton gown with lots of thick antique ruffles, gorgeous embroidery and open-work detail over original matching, long cotton slip and panty combination and delightful matching, pink baby bonnet with three rose o face-framing ruffles and lace and socks and baby shoes. She is in excellent condition with no damages, no cracks or hairlines, no chips or repairs, no stains and no odors and from a smoke free home. (loc. 51)
